Men's Wedding Band Trends for 2017

Wedding season is underway and many are looking for wedding bands. A lot people don't know where to start; especially for men's wedding bands. Let's be honest most men (not all) don't wear jewelry and the closest thing to jewelry are watches for them. Also, most men believe they have it "easier" than women when picking out rings, but it's 2017 and the amount of choices out there for men have grown greatly. Sorry guys, it's not just a plain band anymore, which personally I think is great. Guys have the ability to showcase their style through their wedding band. So, we thought we'd help in listing off trends for men's wedding rings for 2017. Here are our top 5:

1. Mixed Material

This means a mix of titanium/white gold, wood inlays with a precious metal, carbon fiber inlay or tungsten carbide with gold. It adds some design to the ring without getting too flashy.

2. Diamond Accents

Whether people want to believe it or not, there are man out there that like a touch of bling in their rings. Nothing that will be a distraction, but something to add a little more to the ring. And there are plenty of options for men with a hint of diamond(s) in their ring.

3. Classic Plain Band

The classics will never go out of style. It will always be around. You can never go wrong with a timeless style. Classic plain bands are great because they are sizable for future adjustments and it's simple. We are seeing a lot of men go back to the classic band and keeping it simple.

4. A Hint of Black Gold or Diamonds

After the emergence of black titanium and tungsten carbide, a lot of men were asking about adding the black tone to precious metals. From that we see more and more rings available with black gold (or black rhodium) and black diamonds. This is a great style for men who want the alternative metal look but do not want to risk it with sizing or damage to the ring. Adding black gold (or rhodium) and black diamonds gives off the same look.

5. Mixed Finishes

Just as with mixed material, mixed finishes is another way to get some design on a classic style band. Hammered or rough brush finish are increasing in popularity because some men don't want a reflective look on a plain or classic band. So, adding a finish gives that rugged look while wearing a classic band.

We hope this list gives you a great start to your search for wedding bands and hopefully will make it an easier process. Also, one thing to keep in mind is at the end of the day, he has to love wearing his ring. It should be able to define his style and allow him to wear it day in and day out without hesitation. Good luck in your search and happy wedding season shopping!
